The second of three international workshops "Resisting the Path to Genocide: Groups" will take place at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on September 6-8th, 2012. The organizers seek applications from scholars of any discipline for papers about the general question of what enables groups of people to resist genocide or other forms of mass violence? 

In a city where history itself has become a battleground, ‘Re-collecting Mostar’ strives to create an open archive, enabling people to remember what the city was and could be again.

Reconciliation of European Histories – an informal group of Members of European Parliament – provides a platform for the MEPs to play an active role in improving reconciliation and converging the European historical narratives. The group acts jointly issuing statements and opinion articles, holds periodic discussions and sponsors events - as they write on their blog.
